What's in My Cart: My Fall Fashion Finds
I'm really excited for the weather to get a little bit cooler, even though I live in Florida, so it doesn't always get that cold here. A little reprieve from the heat is great! I took my daughter to music class this week, and afterward I walked into a local boutique across the street and got really inspired for fall!

Here's a running list of my fall fashion finds so far, starting with the boutique trip that kicked it all off.
My Fall Fashion Finds at Bluetique
If you live in Pensacola, or you're ever visiting, go check out Bluetique. It's so beautifully merchandised; I think they do a really good job of carrying styles that are more grown up but still of-the-moment, not super trendy either. They have classic pieces alongside fun prints, and really beautiful silhouettes - nothing too "old lady" (giant caftans and the like), but also nothing too revealing or strappy.
A couple of things I got inspired by: I love a good classic T-shirt, and Bluetique carries Lilla P. tees that I really loved. They're thick, with this structured edging that makes the shirt feel substantial instead of thin and see-through. There's a beautiful ecru V-neck that would go with anything, jeans, a patterned skirt, even linen pants (very Florida-weather appropriate); if you're in between sizes, size up. They also had a navy crew neck in the same thick fabric.
Bluetique doesn't carry Abercrombie, but while we're on the subject of good T-shirts: I'm always on the hunt for one, and Abercrombie does it well, too. I'm wearing their classic tee [in the video] (simple black, regular fit - I have it in black, white, and gray), plus their oversized boyfriend tee; I got my true size and it still fits truly oversized. Both run true to size.
The Loungewear I Can't Stop Thinking About
Bluetique also carries this loungewear brand called Sundays by wearesundays that I wasn't familiar with. The pieces feel really structured and well made, not flimsy at all, in genuinely cute silhouettes. There's a baby pink set with a v-neck hoodie, cinched at the wrist and waist, with matching wide-leg pants (I'm not a tapered-leg person; wide leg is much more my flattering).
There's also a bright orange set that made me seriously consider trying orange. I couldn't find a link to the orange set but I found this top and skort on their site that is so freaking cute, too.
The fabric reminds me a lot of Spanx Air Essentials, which I already love (I also like their half-zip), except Spanx tends to stay pretty neutral: white, black, gray. Sundays has a lot more fun and bright colors!
The Shoe I'm Adding to My Fall Rotation
I've had my Rothy's classic clog in the herringbone print for two years now, and if you can still find that print (it comes in and out of stock), it's so worth grabbing. It goes with everything, black and a handful of browns, so you're never stuck choosing between the two.
They just came out with a penny loafer clog. It's a slip-on, a little less wide-looking through the foot than the traditional clog, with that classic penny loafer shape. I think it'll be an easy throw-and-go shoe for fall, dressed down with jeans or dressed up with a skirt. Plus, Rothy's are washable, which makes them even easier to live in. The darkest brown is my favorite, but the navy would be really cute for fall too.
The Cutest Fall Finds for My Daughter
A few things for my daughter made the cart, too. Magnetic Me finally made a convertible coverall in a four-pack, and the prints are so much cuter than their usual packs (I think they save the fun colors for the individual jammies you don't get a deal on, so this feels like a win). She's growing so fast that I'm already eyeing bigger sizes.
Classic Whimsy has, as always, the cutest fall pieces; I feel like I mention them every week at this point. There's a smocked, long bubble in brown gingham with dogs and mallards on it, cinched at the sleeves and ankles; so cozy for fall. They also have a fall leaf floral version and a tan gingham bishop bubble that's almost sold out, so if you want it, don't wait.
And just for fun: I got served an Instagram ad and was immediately influenced by this fleece turkey suit. It has little wings when you lift up the arms. Too cute not to share!
I'm already thinking ahead to the holidays this year (my first with a baby who'll actually notice), so expect some fun content coming your way soon, including an updated version of my "easiest holiday season yet" post.
